Hey all,

I imported my Horizon with a Humminbird Piranha Max 170 sounder and wish to upgrade it for GPS functionality.
The ability to find my way back to the harbour in the dark sounds like a brilliant luxury!
The local Australian importer of Humminbird products only brings in the PMax (Piranha Max) 196ci, which is the colour version of the PMax 176i...
Typically, I can buy the USA version (in feet/ MPH!) of the PMax 176i posted to me for less than half of what the local dealers want, but have concerns that it might not work!

This GPS doesn't have local maps loaded in & solely uses GPS.
Might anyone know whether my old transducer & power plug will slot in and whether this will work fine, upside down in Oz? GPS is GPS, isn't it?
