The ones out here have never been aggressive, they hang around the launch ramps a lot and wait for us all to leave then clean up any leftover scraps. They have been just 100 feet away from me watching me clean my boat. and never did a thing. I always thought if they did, I'd just jump up in it on the trailer and grab the flare gun or something.

They avoid humans unless used to being fed...problems come when fed and they lose the fear, just like gators and bears. Aggressive then equals how hungry they are. They're fun to watch though and usual meal is rabbit size, but they have killed some calves.

50's here in West Michigan. 60's forecasted for tomorrow. I actually thought about taking the boat out for a spin in the lake, but it's supposed to rain tomorrow and it's heavy fog today. Not to mention the water temps in Lake Michigan are in the low 40's. No complaints though- at this point last year we already had about 30 inches of snow!
