My favorite piece allowed me to move my front bimini support from outside the windshield frame

To inside the frame, now I can fold it down below the frame instead of unscrewing and removing it to get my cover on

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! It just clicked how much effort it is for me to take down and put up our roof due to the crappy plastic connectors but now I see how easily this can be resolved!!!

Well, I just came inside from my shop where my Sundowner sits. It was some of the worst chalking/oxidized gelcoat I've ever seen. Not any more!!! Took three steps, several hours but now got that "wet" look :) Im stoked, didn't think Id ever get that gel back to looking good. I can still see some light oxidation DEEP in the clear over the grey, but the dark blue is shiny shiny.

In the past month. I've installed new engine. My wife recovered cushions in cuddy and cleaned up the upholstery and got rid of about 95% of the mildew spots. Looks awesome for a boat that cost me $300 :D

Volunteered to be a safety boat for a local charity "race" on the river. Here is a pic of the starting gunshot to begin the event.

Thinking about maybe throwing the boat back at the marina today. It needs a detail bad though...

Possibly dropping the boat at the marina. Finished working on it yesterday. Had to re-set the timing and idle speed.

Yeah, it's been a few weeks for me since I've been out. Enjoying the break though. If I can find a good (cheap/hungry) detailer this afternoon and have the boat detailed this week it will be in the water Saturday! It's not going back until it's polished good, it's been a year it's getting oxidized and ugly.

Also considering removing the vinyl graphics on the sides. Makes it look kinda dated.

sounds like you need to break out your buffer and do the detail yourself tonight and tomorrow. friday I'm throwing a fresh buff on mine.

I was not able to go out last weekend because of storms.. but i plan to be out this weekend. and next and the next and 3 days of Labor day..

Must be a summer thing. Got another phone quote for detailing my boat:
$650

These people are insane. Sounds like it's time to purchase a DA and some Aquabuff.
