It will be interesting to see what they did with the interior. My guess is that there is no "stateroom".

I would guess that the area under and in front of the bow cockpit is just padded "storage" that could be used for sleeping if you aren't claustrophobic. The aft berth probably remains relatively unchanged. Unclear what happens to the galley & dinette area. I'd guess the move the head aft to port but keep it similar is size and function.

My gut tells me there is no forward state room.

it will be a crawl in bed.. i am guessing 18" of head room.. it will feel like a coffin.. ik the under cockpit rooms.. enough room to sleep but not sit up..

My guess is it is a coffin berth like the aft berth.
It is probably a larger version of the campion bow rider with a mid cabin and if they put the galley in the cockpit like the Euro style it may be drastically different. I still think it is odd but I am very curious on what they did.

see that is a total waist to me.. so much space is dead.. I would rather a bow sun pad with a short bench couch.. and a stabbing cabin that business can happen with in.. sleeping in a coffin is for the after life..

You know 45+ years ago they made 42 ft boats with 2 full staterooms (w/heads) an enclosed salon/galley, seating on the bow and ample deck space for entertaining.

Those older boats also don't do 45-50mph. Totally different hull designs.

And this H440 won't either. The fastest a V435 is shown to be capable of is 41 mph (fast facts 2011). I wonder how often a V435 exceeds 20 mph? Probably 2 times a year with the average owner.

A big part of this speed increase in boats has more to do with available engine & drive technology than just hull design.

the byliner 4788 pilothouse will run 18knots aka 20mph and that is adequate for that mass of a boat.. if i want to run 45-50 i have a horizon.........

Since we are in a slight topic drift.......
At FLIBS show, Hatteras will show their new GT 70. This boat hit a top speed of 41 knots with 18 people
on board, full 2,000 gal. fuel tanks 2 weeks ago in sea trials. 70+ feet long and 21'4' beam.
Image

Of course it takes two MTU 2,650HP diesels to get that speed, and a VERY deep set of pockets to afford one.

Image

The performance the sportfish builders get out of these convertibles just amazes me.

MY life long FAVORITE boat has been the WALLYPOWER 118 since its creation years ago... i have loved the sail boats he designs and then this beauty. It is simply Different from everything on the water..

http://youtu.be/6T1EunzVI7M

BUT i would say hands down "THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH" is probably the better money spent for living quarters and family space.
