 Post subject: We finally got one...

The Admiral and I finally caught a fish. This was a 28lb. King Mackerel caught about 9 miles off Oak Island NC at a spot called Lighthouse Rock. This was our first catch and it turned out that it was the biggest of our 4-boat group.

We've caught flounder and catfish but this was the first King Mac, yes.

They would run this boat over to Bimini from Florida back in it's day. The twin seahorses give quite the hole shot although this is not a fast boat by any means. We have a great time with it.
