First warmish day of the season. The usual first outing goes to nearby island/restaurant for lunch and ice cream.

Snapped this from too far away but its something...

Hey Michael, looks like a change of scenery for you. When did you move from South Bay to Harbor Club?

This is our first year! A couple of factors led to the decision, my wife likes to kayak and the water quality in Green Bay last year was really bad. Last Labor Day we were up visiting with some friends and all decided to make the move. 5 boats in all! Soon after Sonny's Pizzeria announced they were taking over the empty restaurant at the marina. Tiki Bar opened this past weekend and they live entertainment on the patio on Saturdays. Going to be a fun Summer!!

We love Sonny's pizza and would hate to see how much weight we would gain by the end of the summer if it was right outside our marina  So is your new marina the one located at Stone Harbor or is it the big marina on the other side of the channel by the old Applebee's?

Had a great Memorial Day weekend on Lake Winnipesaukee. I did a lot of work to the Sundowner over the winter. Late last summer the ol' girl got whacked by a jet ski near the swim ladder. The shop did a fabulous job on the repair, she looks better than new with a new Awlgrip red stripe. We had been stumped coming up with a name, but the jet ski accident created that "a-ha" moment!

Love the name. Lol. I been thinking of changing my boat name from earned it. I've had the motor out twice in 3 years and I'm sick if earning it.

For the weather being a little chilly this past weekend, we still got out 3 times. Luckily we canceled our camping trip, the area we were supposed to go got hammered with rain. I'll take a dry and colder day on the boat over a rain out at the campsite any time.
Here are some pics from a trip down the Milwaukee river in Downtown Milwaukee.

Put the boat in on Sunday. Nice day on a weekend that I was off finally. Went to a new area on the river - 2-3' deep to get into it, but once thru the entrance 30' all around. Sat on the beach, tired out the dog, and didn't get a single picture.

We had a great time out on the CT River for my wife's birthday. We normally boat on a smaller lake in CT so this was really fun change for us. The boat ran great even with a full load. We hung out in Hamburg Cove for the day and had dinner at the Blue Oar.

Better late than never!
Finally got in the water this year. :D Only for one night though. :( She came back out on Sunday for a bottom paint refresh and a buff-n-wax.
She'll be back in for the summer in a couple weeks.
