The bow rope on the dinghy is tied to one cleat and the rope you see around the motor is on the other.
There is just enough room on the swim platform to pull it on so that the keel is onboard. Doesn't take much to hold it there. This was the first long trip with it and it never moved.

6 adults in bow of Horizon...6th person is barely shown in left side of picture.
That's me at "one point off the starboard bow" (white t-shirt)

My Horizon is rated for 13 passengers, and I always wondered how you could fit 13 passengers in it. So for fun, we piled 6 adults in the bow area for a photo. Well, we fit, but our feet are pretty stacked up on each other.
