Well, now that you've bought it... Prior to buying I would check the floors. Any soft or spongy spots indicate rot. IT can be an easy... or more than likely a tough fix. Make sure engine runs, oil in drive and engine is not milky after being in the water, and that there are no leaks.
What part of Washington are you from? I see you bought the boat in Woodland.
The motor in the boat is not actually the "Iron Duke". The Iron Duke was never used in a marine application.
The 3 liter (181 ci) version of 153 cu in 4 cylinder GM Motor and the Iron Duke were not the same engine.
The motor in your boat is likely the 3 liter. A good reliable engine. It will be attached to an OMC Cobra drive. From a design and durability standpoint the OMC is a good unit. Unfortunately, the drive has been out of production for 20+ years so it is getting harder to find some parts and service. Most typical service parts are available.
