I was told by Four Winns that from 07-09 the vista 318 had a break away arch. Does anyone have one? Need to know the what the clearance from the ground up to the arch when its broken down. I want to put it in the garage in the winter time and my builder need to know how tall the garage door needs to be.

Thx. Future owner of the vista 318

I would go 14ft and anything will pretty much fit. There isn't a set height based on what trailer it sitting on. Roller or bunk, 15 or 16 inch wheels on trailer.

When we trailered ours, with the arch folded to the top of the windshield it was 12' 6" on the trailer. Keel was approx 18" off the ground.

If you did 14' doors your plenty safe

How tall can you go based on the design and dimensions of the garage? 14' is the minimum I would go, but I would go absolutely as high as possible.
