I used to deal with Brobeil Marine just across the border, and the closest US dealer to me. They are no longer a dealer as of about a month ago. Was going to order my overpriced OE tower.
So now I have to drive two hours to Kingston where the next dealer is so I can pay even more as they don't discount as much. I miss winnisqaumine marine.

Why can't Four Winns keep a consistent dealer network. :(

I would have a hard time believing that it is still cheaper to head south to buy anything, the way our dollar stacks up against the green back!!

The problem is for something as heavy as the OE arch, the freight to Canada will be more (shipping, brokerage charges etc), plus the dealer's markup is more. Its still cheaper to buy it down south and just go pick it up with my utility trailer.

Four Winns is only a manufacture, they dont fund there dealer network.

Dealers selling sterndrives in my area are hurting to sell anything as the consumer is not purchasing sterndrives anymore.

My own observation, the new Four Winns Style is way to Euro for me..... I wont buy a new FW. So if many buyers are like me and are purchasing 'used' boats privately, this does nothing for the manufacture or dealers.

So what would you say the consumers are purchasing, outdrives? I know in Ontario, there are a few four winns dealers, and the free falling Canadian dollar isn't helping, but damn

180k Plus 13% taxes on a bowrider? Who the heck is buying this stuff?

Brobeil was a long time Four Winns dealer - I'm sure neither party wanted the relationship to change.

Harsh. lol. I don't think everyone would agree about that.
If you're just going over the Peace bridge to Brobeil I could see how you could get that impression.
Check out Downtown next time you're around.
I didn't know they stopped selling Four Winns until seeing your post.
I'm pretty sure they have had them since the 80's and maybe before.
Looks like they are concentrating on fishing boats.
And I agree, the new styles aren't something I would be interested in.

Hello iFourWinns members! This is my first post after becoming a new Four Winns buyer at the Toronto Boat Show this year. We have ordered a 2016 Four Winns V375, to be delivered mid May. We made a deal through Maple City Marine in Chatham, ON and are more than happy! Grant and Rob really came through for us. We negotiated a deal that made it not worth looking anywhere else, especially south of the border with the exchange. Looking forward to hearing more about your experiences with the Four Winns product, and also sharing ours! See you all online!!

Hi Glenn,

Congrats on the purchase of your 2016 Four Winns V375. I'd suggest you start a new posting to introduce yourself and your new V375. You will find that the iFourWinns members here will be requesting pictures of that nice new V375. :)

Since you purchased through Maple City Marine (they are the closest Four Winns Dealer to me) would you happen to have your home port in Lake St. Clair?

Again congrats on your purchase and I hope you have a great summer for boating.

Mike.
