Admins need to ad a series to the sub forum for the new HD series

I have to say that this crossover mix of multiple boats is catching my eye on the function and form of what we use the boat for.

emailed FW to find out when a close Boat show to me will have one of these so i can look at one. and or a dealer near.. Finally my interests are sparked on a new new boat. And the OB is a key element as i want the easy use of salt water.

that boat is cool lots of well designed seating and storage and an outboard but still has a nice swim platform

Now that's a boat I would buy....a great alternative to those who don't want to deal with cat converter I/Os in salt water....and 300-400 lbs less weight on the stern...no bellows....no fumes in the bilge....easy winterizing...

And they hinged the front seat pads - Not sure if anyone else has, but I lost several on the freeway before I started packing them in the back of my SUV...

I like it, although I do wonder how it would handle rougher water.

Yes, nice looking boat, but huge (270)! Probably not in my price range...

Yep need something like that in the 20-22' range to keep the cost down. Back in the '80s F/W sold both the 200 Horizon and 205 Sundowner with outboards, that boat would fly with a 175 Evinrude on it....

We just got back from Houston Boat show. Four Winns had a 210 RS, H210, H230SS ....no HD or any OB models but the pad space was limited per dealer.

I did see one manufacturer with a nice ski tow rack mounted round OB motor. Looked like a mini tower and heavy duty.....I thought it was sharp looking and hell of an idea.

This Boat is not at the Toronto show either.

Seems odd.

I assume they have a removable pole .....that after market rack around the outboard would be a must. ....nice looking, stops you from stepping into the well and has tow ball on top. Same size tubing as tower and awesome point for speaker or other accessories...lights etc....comes in stainless or powder coated to match boat.

I was impressed.....luxury of tower and not in the way at all plus it's only about 2 feet above top of OB.....I was imaging a removable swing arm with easy access pit.

There is a HD270 Signature Series on display at the Toronto Boat Show... It is the stern drive version - not the OB and is near the rear of the booth.
