Here are a few pics from our weekend out on Lake Butte de Morttes and Lake Winnebago at my uncle's lake house. The storm pics are from saturday night an hour after we docked.

Boat is in the water and kids are itching to go waterskiing/tubing. We've only gone for short cruise though, too much time spent on yardwork and fixing things around the place

Yes, of course. Do you want a larger version of the photo?

Nice looking place! Really like the blue and red hull as well. Looks sharp.

Had a nice Memorial day Weekend even though we only got on the water for one day...it was incredible to find a private cove on such a busy weekend.

Very nice! Is the water warm enough for swimming already?

Hi everyone. We tried to have our first outing on memorial day. The wake tower install was finished that morning. Went to start up the engine and had some gremlins that ruined our day. Oh well! All was fixed a few days later.

Jettaman, nice boat! I'd like to hear more about your tower.

Sure! It's made by Monster Towers and it is model MTK. You can get it in a couple different colors with or without the Bimini. It comes with an all around light mounted on top so you no longer have to dig the pole out when you're cruising at night. I was pretty hesitant about making such a change to the boat because I loved the way it looked already but am extremely happy that I did it. The tower is solid, the Bimini is way more convenient and we've been getting compliments everywhere we go :-) Let me know if you want any other details!

Nice boat! What kind of gremlins did you have?

Bearing failure on the circulator pump. I knew it was going to happen sooner or later. I've slowly been replacing the pulleys/pumps since I purchased the boat last season. I'm glad it happened at the dock rather than while we were out in the middle of the Chesapeake!

Jettaman ---- the pictures look great, but it looks even better in person. I work for Hawk's and if I turn around in my chair I can see your boat from my "office." Horizon 230 and 240's have been popular this year. We've sold 2 of 3 brokerage listings and just sold and delivered our in-stock 26 last week. If there is ever anything I can do for you, please just let me know. MIke H...............

Thanks Mike! I think we've talked on the phone once or twice. I'll make sure to stop in and say hi next time I'm there. I talk with Carey pretty regularly. I've been drooling over that 26 for a long time... I'm glad it won't be there to distract me anymore ;-) Congrats on the sale!

Awesome. That's the first aftermarket tower I've seen on a 230 that really got my attention.

How many hours on the boat when the water pump went?
