So, again, not much from me here in the Midwest, we finally got down to single digits this past weekend, but man, we've had a lot of water. Attaching some pics of our flooded marina, and hoping our Southern hemisphere folks can help us out with something better... Is it April yet??

Wrote the check for the slip fee the other day. So my 2016 boating/spending season has officially begun. :D
Still have a lot of melting to wait for though.

Man, I feel for you cold weather guys. I'll probably put the boat on the water for the first time here in a few weeks. Over 80 degrees here tomorrow, a record high.

We got a lot of snow (for us) last winter and the year before, but nothing like that! We do get frequent wind storms and power outages, but my little B&S 5,000 watt generator takes care of those...

Luckily, where we are (Gold Coast, Australia), it is possible for us to go boating all year round......

That is 20+ inches of Lake Michigan lake effect snow. I was beginning to worry becuase it normally slides off before it gets that deep on the metal roof of the barn. Was thinking I would need to do something about it when I woke up the next day and it had taken care of itself. You definitley don't want to be standing there when it comes off.

Nice pics guys. The best boating pic I could provide for 2016 so far would be my boat under shrink wrap. Not to exciting. dodger29 pics will be hard to beat for us guys that typically can't even start their boating season until late April, early May as we await for our ice and snow to clear out. At least the city I live in has their annual Boat Show this weekend that I can attend. :)

Hi Decision,

I would be happy to see any four winns pic.....even under wraps!

I must admit, we are lucky to be able to use our boats the way we do here on the Gold Coast....

I took the new boat out yesterday for the first time. Ended up being way windier than I thought, the body of the lake was white caps, I don't think we went over 20mph. Found a nice cove out of the wind to anchor and have lunch and hung out for a bit. We were wanting to explore the lake some but it was just too rough to be fun. Here are a few pics from her first time in the water (well, by us anyway).

Jealous! We still have ice on our lakes. Congrats on a successful outing with the new boat!
