Awesome. That's the first aftermarket tower I've seen on a 230 that really got my attention.

How many hours on the boat when the water pump went?

240 hours. There was a good amount of corrosion on it because it was previously located in Dewey Beach Delaware. The previous owner took great care of some things and neglected others just because he wasn't aware they needed to be done. A good example is the risers/manifolds. The boat was 10 years old when I got it and it still had the originals on... in my opinion should have been changed at least 5 years ago... also had the original spark plugs in it which surprisingly worked great.

Someone congratulate me! We hit our first rock! It was weird because there was no danger buoy, plus we've been in that part of the lake before. Thankfully, we were going very slowly. Two bent prop blades and some minor skeg damage on the ETEC, but no hull damage. Hoping we got this rite-of-passage checked off the list for good.

Welcome to the club. You just paid your "initiation fee". Be glad you did not do any more serious of a dredging job. The prop can almost certainly be repaired, and aluminum props are relatively cheap. Aluminum props are also much less likely to cause damage to the prop shaft or gears.

Boating this year with a baby has been a bit of an adjustment but so far it's been great.

Spent 5 days at Lake Georgetown just north of Austin, Tx. Had great weather and an awesome time on the boat. This wasn't the first trip out with 'Lil Stinker, but it was a nice long camping trip. My daughter also got some seat time behind the wheel on this trip and we also had some toob time!

This last pics was loading up the evening before we left. It was nice being on the lake during the week while everyone else was at work!

Been having a blast having a boat this summer. We've been out every weekend. Lots of friends and lost of good times.

Beautiful looking lake. Most of our lakes are very rocky, which makes for pretty water, but no "beaches" that we can pull the boats up to and let the kids have fun.

I envy you guys who went out this weekend. Instead of boating, I was doing yard work in anticipation of our annual 4th of July party. Of course it was ~90 degrees and humid. We only did 4 yards of mulch but will need another yard. We will also need a couple yards of sand this week...

4 yards is a lot of mulch. At least it wasn't 4 yards of dirt. BTDT.
