5 of us loaded my boat and went on a 3 day camping trip on an island on the southern lake Lake Hartwell. This lake i have been on a couple times, but mainly the northern 3 miles and only a hand full of times on the middle section on a friends boat YEARS AGO. So this was a chart plotter and learning weekend for me. We were on the island after a 4 mile ride around 11 on friday and all setup in about an hour. We had to chill under the EzUp for about an hour and a half drinking beer and telling stories while a heavy storm cell came thru. In the 3 days i ran 96 miles and burned an entire 35 gallon tank.

Good food good times.

I see the storm coming! time to run to the EZup and drink beer.

anchored for a swim by the stadium. My tailgate spot is just on the other side of the dike by that big tree on the left. Yes if we lives on the water we could come to the games via the water. Their are about 30 boats a game that beach to the left out of frame.

STORMS A BREWIN time to haul ass 15 miles south to the marina and head home. what a great weekend.

we got our friends on the road back south to Atlanta and Alabama before the storm. And the wife and i hauled the boat the 18 miles west towards the storm to our hour, got parked and the cover on just in time to crack a beer in the garage and watch the literal bottom fall out of the sky. it was white out conditions.

My Navionics tracks from the 96 mile 3 day adventure.

This was a few weeks ago. Met up with my brother at Kaw lake outside of Ponca City Oklahoma. It was a shallow, very brown lake but the trade off was great beaches for the kids to play on. Now my hull is stained brown. :| Gonna have to buff it.

Season is over for me.
Have to go out of town and won't be able to get back to the boat until October. So I decieded to pull it yesterday and drop it off for winterization.

Did do an interesting river boat cruise on Lake Austin in TX a few weeks ago. Some very nice houses on that lake.

I took the boat out for a spin this morning and decided to get some drone shots. Here's a YouTube link for some of the video too:

Here are some misc pictures from this summer that I really like. The majority are from Milwaukee on Lake Michigan.

Here is a picture of Kid Rock's Yacht that was docked in Milwaukee for a week. Notice the clever name on the side.

Thanks!!! It was a lot of fun to do. My only fear was trying to land on the rear sun pad, missing, and crashing the drone in the water. Thankfully it all worked out. I have a friend selling an amazing 28' chap and we might make a similar video to help sell it.
