Inverters to run a microwave is a big battery eater. A 700 watt microwave will pull about 800 to 900 watts. the inverter itself will have a 5% loss too. So thats about 75amps being pulled out of the batteries. A coffee pot would take less, it lest my Keurig is 600 watts.

I have a 2000 watt marine inverter not being used since I went with a small 2000w generator.

The manual for the stove (look it up online) will tell you exactly how much alcohol to put in. Ours takes a specific amount so it's not overfilled. We lift up the electric elements and drip tray and there is a screw cap to the alcohol container. Slide open the cover over the chimney and light it. It works well, but is quite slow to heat - but it works!
Treat the alcohol with respect, it is (obviously) very flammable and burns with a nearly invisible flame.
Have fun!

Yep that looks like the one.

We used the fill cap to add the alcohol to the stove the first few times. Than my wife pointed out that it was easier to simply pour the alcohol onto the cotton at in the centre of the burner. No spills and much faster. My initial reaction was that she was crazy, I was wrong... Just this one time.
