Nice work, looks great.

If you don't mind me asking, how much time would you say you had invested in making the templates and laying down the GatorStep?

Laying it down was pretty simple, probably 2 hours tops. Making good templates is where most of the time was spent. It's hard to estimate because I don't think I ever worked on it for more than an hour at a time. The hardest part was getting the clear template material to lay nice and flat, which it does not like to do when it has to go around curved walls. It was a little tricky getting used to how to trim the material just right so it would lay flat but once I got a system down it went a little quicker. I'd say I probably spend 4 or 5 hours making templates.

Thank you for the feedback. Your thread has helped motivate me to get our Vista's flooring upgraded for the start of our 2016 boating season. I hope to have our new flooring in by the middle of May.

Mike, I called Precision Custom Canvas and after a 1/2 hour chat, they gave me a price that I am ok with to do our helm and complete cockpit area. My wife and I will be working on the template this weekend and sending Precision the template on Monday. Just need to decide if I have the galley carpeting replaced to. My wife and I are leaning towards getting the galley floor done, but I have not got a final price to include the galley yet.

Great Job! GatorStep is using your template pics on their website! I think I found a project for my '10 H210 when my wife finally gets fed up with the carpet. The floors look awesome!

We were looking at doing our 328 also this year.
Really like the look.

Please keep us informed as to how it goes.

Hey Jus Laxin, we'll be boating across Lake St.Clair to Lake St.Clair Metropark (Michigan) on our Victoria Day long holiday weekend in May, you should boat over as well and check out the new boat flooring in person. :)

For anyone that is interested, I'll try and post a couple pictures of our new Infinity Luxury Woven Vinyl (marine carpet) that I took this past weekend. I"ll start a new thread in Boating Banter since this is formulax's thread.

Photos should hopefully be back up soon... sorry about that. I guess my website got hacked and I never got the emails so the host temporarily shut it down. Hopefully it will be back up sometime today or tomorrow.
