Your interior pictures show a nice layout and I like the helm and seating decor.

On a different note, that boat rack system is pretty cool. I do wonder when a boat is on the lift and with all the different hull and transom angles if the boat lift forks ever get spread apart enough which would cause a boat to drop? I imagine that has to be a rare occurrence or business would obviously suffer.

i would think that if they were that wide say going from a 30' cruiser to a jet ski for example that the operator would notice that the arms are too wide and hit the hydraulics and move them in. also a lot of operators work on the routine of starting wide and move the arms inward then pick up so that this "dropping" is avoided and eliminated.

Looks like the lift operator is about level with the boat (riding up/down with it) rather than at ground level like the forklift type I've seen used. Much better chance of getting it right when you are close to it.

Back to the boat, that cabin looks really bright, not dark and dreary.

I was more thinking about the overall weight of the boat trying to force the forks of the lift outward and wondering if there was some fail safes that would prevent the forks from spreading in the event of a hydraulics failure. In the pic of the boat that deafwish posted you can see the forks are on a portion of the boat's V hull and that "V" (unlike a flatter bottomed boat) would be really trying to push the forks apart. I would think there would be safety mechanisms in place to prevent a mishap, but I don't know. Sorry deafwish, back to your boat thread.

Each boat has 2x colored stickers on the transom which correlate to the electronically set tine width.
The Mustang hulls have the widest, & I have a blue & green sticker.
Not one boat has ever dropped - yet!

Wow, that is such a cool crane/lift system. In South-East Florida, we have tons of indoor storage marinas, but as far as I know, all of them use large fork lifts (on tires). Indoor rack rates run around $600/month (with launching) for a 24' boat, which is why mine sits on it's trailer in my yard.

How much does indoor storage cost down there? Are launches included?

Wow, that is steep. Around here it is $1800 to $2800 per year for a 24' boat including winter storage and one launch per day. Mine also includes trailer storage.

Yes, very steep. $25/foot/month is the rate at Loggerhead marina, which can store very large boats. I just double checked with another marina that costs less. A 24' bow-rider there would be $510/mo monthly or $5280/year ($440/mo) for annual contract. This price only applies to boats that are less than 8' tall. These marinas are on the intracoastal waterway (salt) with immediate access to the Atlantic Ocean.
