I had to look up tank size, it is 15 gallons. I've never run out of water in a weekend. We also use water for the sink in the head and the mini-galley sink in the cabin.

We're not taking full showers but I've never worried about rationing water.

I've also thought about adding a shower up on the bow for rinsing the anchor. We boat on an inland lake that has a channel out to Lake Michigan. Lake Macatawa has a muddy bottom that can be pretty messy. Lake Michigan has a very nice sandy shore on Michigan's west coast.

97_245_sd. As for the mud and muck on the anchor. I grew up and still boat on the Atlantic with pluff mud and silt muck sand. What we do is dunk the anchor. Then hold it at the water level while the wife or kid drives forward and you let the friction of the water wash the anchor off, then back off and store a clean anchor.

Yea I think my 10gallons will be plenty. A buddy keeps saying he would not do less than 15. BUT!......he also has a 36 or maybe 38 sea ray sundancer with 90 gallons of fresh. And twin big boy Cummins diesel motors. It will get on plane with 75% or more of the hull out of the water and cruises high 30s and pegged out humming along at 48. When stock was low 30s wide open. He is a go big or bigger or go home guy.

well the shower came. I am very happy with the one that i ordered. I got the 3" hole drilled, Boy! was that nerve racking drilling that sucker.. NO turning back.. The pump also came and is much smaller than i had thought. The housing is installed and i love the placement. I am still waiting on a couple fittings to arrive before i do the plumbing. I will have a hard line heavy wall PEX routed to the Port side to plumb the hose from the pump and tank on the starboard side.

THANKS.. I truly was a bit shaky as i was putting the pilot bit of the 3" hole saw bit up to the gelcot. a hole that size is no coming back. But I am happy with the placement and results. NOW to get my PEX routed and hung so I can test her out.
