Yep, it's been getting a lot of attention (finally) in the past 5 years or so. All too often, dock maintenance is an afterthought. |

I wouldn't let anyone swim at a dock that had electric, it does not take much for a dangerous situation to develop. Sooner or later we will wind up with warning signs etc. |

Our club allows swimming at the docks but I make my kids wear life jackets or they don't go in. The electrical shock isn't what kills a person but rather the paralysis and subsequent drowning. However, I hope our club makes it against the rules because it is hard to say no to your kids when "everyone does it". |
