There is a public boat ramp in Mystic near Wellington Station in Medford. There is a small dirt Parking Lot where you can park truck and trailer but space is very limited. There is another public boat ramp in Winthrop behind airport and has decent size parking space.. You can park your truck and trailer but I think there is 18 hours limit if I recall. My Friends launch their boat from Back River Ramp in Weymouth where little ride from Boston but there is a large Parking lot. Boston Harbor is very tough to launch boat unless you belong to clubs or marina and expect to be very tough on Tall Ship week….

Do you plan on staying over night on the hook or staying at a marina? You might look into staying at a marina and asking if they can do a short haul. Usually doesn't cost much and if you are staying over night or the weekend they may discount you. Then you have piece of mind for the truck plus all comforts from the marina.
Good luck, Boston is an AWESOME city and lots to do there...
