Curious, those that slip their boat. Ho owns their cart? What did you buy that works good? We have an asphalt parking lot with concrete dock, so the terrain is good.....

The marina has courtesy carts, just don't feel like walking around looking for one and taking it back....

Please let me know what works for you, I keep looking at the foldable ones from$50-$150, trying to avoid wasting money...

Thanks in advance
Chris

I don't have a slip or a cart, but if I were looking for one I'd look at a garden cart with flat-free tires from AM Leonard. Serious commercial grade stuff.

We bought a foldable one from Ace Hardware and really like it. We have so far only gotten 1 season out of it so i cant speak to the longevity of it yet, but if it broke i would buy another one. Its nice having your own dock cart for sure

We don't have our boat at a marina, but we do have a cart that we use when at the coast for fishing.

http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/ ... _200640326

We fish down in Port Mansfield, Tx and all the piers are over 500' long (shallow waters). This cart carries our bait bucket (5 gal w/ live shrimp), car battery (for aerator), two tackle boxes, 6 fishing rods (mounted on the sides), and misc items. It works well, easy to pull, and steers easily.

Not quite the same use as what you're looking for, but we've been using ours for over 5 years now and we haven't had any trouble.

I'd like to see a pic of this set up.
Sounds like the Beverly Hillbilly's of dock fishing but I'll bet it's a neat rig.

Yes that looks exactly like the one we have, but I think I paid closer to $100 for it so that seems to be a great deal!

I like this cart, I just don't think it will store very easy, especially when we use my wife's car. I bet it rolls awesome

I ordered it tonight, pick up in champaign illinois after a meeting tomorrow. For us, probably have a case of water and beer then the rest will be food/clothes/towels. We will see how it works, for $65 tax and all, it's worth a shot....

Currently filled with misc. stuff; including bait bucket, bow seat cushions, and our boat "bucket-o-stuff".

Here is a sunrise pic from Port Mansfield. You can see some of the long piers I'm talking about. Water depth is only about 4 feet at the end of the piers! Great fishing for Speckled Trout and Red Drum though!
