I went today after work. There weren't that many people there and we actually got a chance to get onto some of the bigger boats. The big Searays really impressed me.

I also really liked the FW H350,

We attended the preview night.

2 new boats that were simply awesome were the searay SLX 400 bow rider and the 510 sundancer.

When you roll up with a 40’ bow rider it’s hard not to be top dog, but this boat had some really cool features also. One side of the boat flips down to make a big dock along side the boat, and makes a massive boat bigger. Pretty cool.

The 510 sundancer was the brightest and best laid out cruiser i have seen. They had a similar sized fly next to it but this thing felt better to me.

As always no one can beat the bigger vista layout and build quality. Not so crazy about the direction they have taken with the smaller express cruisers... they have taken the “function” out of them to allow for a European flair.

Picked up a drain plug light, some bow rail lights and a few other items.

Well worth the visit!

Yes, the 510 Sundancer was my wife's favourite as well but my kids liked the flybridge. I just need to hit lotto max to buy one now :)

Picked up a Gala dinghy and 6hp Yamaha at boat show pricing - not a huge savings but it scratched the itch for now.

Is it summer yet?

Only a matter of time on the bay till you get the itch to go faster and further on the bay in the dinghy!!!
