Paid for the slip last week, went to the boat show over the weekend and just saw five geese fly over heading north. Hopefully that is a good sign. :D
They finally had some cruisers at the Detroit Boat Show. Last time I went is was mostly wake and open bow boats. Got to see the 355 and 375 side by side. I've been eyeing the 358 for a while but never had the chance get on one until now. Really like the hard top version (375). Too bad my wallet doesn't.

We've got 12" of snow in the last 3 days here in South Dakota. I sure envy you guys! I don't even start thinking about pulling the boat out until mid-late April.

lol, don't listen to me. We've had such a cold and snowy last couple months that we Michiganders tend get excited when it finally hits 50 degrees.
Unfortunately I'm in the same boat so to speak. It'll be late April early May before the boats come out.
I did see a much larger flock of geese going north today. Hopefully they know something we don't.

I'll actually be going out today as soon as I can sneak away from work. Our weather will be returning to normal next week . . . . so taking advantage of it.

Update from the north;

Little snow this year, but lots of ice.

The geese you saw flying this way must have been distracted when everyone else was watching for the groundhog to stick his head out of his hole. More winter to come yet.

Northbound geese can expect 24 to 36 inches of good ice.

Will report back late April when the ice has receded.

Skiing and snowmobiling still on the agenda for the next few weeks.
