I would love to get a new FW in a few years, my old 88 has served us well, but it is almost 20 years old. I am in a salt water area, and an outboard would suit my needs better than an IO. I know they used to make smaller models with OBs, and at one time you could get the 200 Horizon and 205 Sundowner with OBs as well.
If not, I'll just have to get a fishing boat like everyone else here!

The '03 170 Freedom/Horizon was the last model that was offered with outboard power I believe.

Now they have none. They simply offer the 180 with a "Fish & Ski" package.

Too bad, Four Winns makes a great boat and outboards are a good choice for many. Quess you're left with center consoles. :cry:

My neighbor got a nice Key West Dual Console, that is like a bowrider but set up more for salt water use. That's probably the type of boat I'll go for next.

Hmmm, might be the genmar merger? Which other brand under their umbrella has fishing boats with outboards?
