| Post subject: | Bow gelcoat abrasion from trailer rollers |
While swimming around my boat, this weekend, I noticed the gelcoat around the bow hook where the trailer's rubber rollers make contact has started to rub away. It looks like a porous surface, not smooth like the rest of the finish. Can it be fixed and how can I prevent it in the future? |

I get this as well, but instead my rollers scuff and tear the finishing tape at the apex above my scuff plate. happened on my old boat too. any sucggestions on how to prevent this? |
