The "shorty" struts on my bimini top are bent on one side; I'm awaiting the 20 hour service for replacement. The salesman told us we could tow the boat with the bimini up (boot on) without problems.

Since that time I've been reading some posts (another forum) that state it's okay and others that disagree.

I have been towing it to the lake this way, since I have no other choice other than to take it off the boat. Am I creating more problems for myself?

The only problem you might incure is bugs hitting the cover and also look out for low wires or tree branches. Other than that enjoy your trip.

Yeah, no problems. It'll just pick up a bunch of bugs along the way, but I've towed with it up quite a few times.
