I have two adjustable poles for my bow and cockpit covers to prop up the covers and let water drain down. There is also a pole, nothing adjustable, that came with the boat.

What am I supposed to do with this?

It sounds like the extra pole is your transom light that goes into the hole for nighttime use.

I belv that is placed under the engine cover while open if you are working underneath...just for safety.

Or it may be like ours which is in the sky locker. Look in the engine compartment and the sky locker for 2 rubber clamps that hold it and that should be where it goes.

It's definitely not the anchor light, I have that.

Could be for the engine hatch, I'll see if there's an obvious place to place it.
