Anyone have a good source to purchase Four Winns Parts? I'm looking in to purchasing the Four Winns Mooring cover. I called my local dealer and he wants $650. I'm not sure if that is a good price, so I want to see if there is a Four Winns online store or just a competitive dealer to verify.

I think that FW gets their canvas from this company. Give them a call and find out.

Midlife - Thanks for posting the website. I called Great Lakes today, but unfortunately they said they did not make the canvas for my model. Are there any other canvas companies out there that Four Winns deals with?

Have you contacted Four Winns customer service ? They can answer your questions directly, and they will.

But did you ask who their supplier is for the OEM covers? That is what I meant. If you approach it tactfully, the CSR's at FW will let you know who their supplier for the covers is and who they may have used in the past.

Then you can contact the supplier, and see what they may be able to do for you.

Four Winns uses Great Lakes Boat Top for their OEM covers.

I asked customer service if there was anywhere else I could get the cover. They said they only knew of the four winns dealer. Maybe Four Winns does their own canvas work for my model.

I linked that on another board for him last week. He didn't seem like it was what he wanted. IMO. it's a good source for covers, at a good price too.

Checked out that website, but the cover they had for my boat was style-to-fit. I purchased an exact fit(custome) cover from iboat.com today. The cover is made by Shoremaster Fabrics. It should arive in two week. I'll post some pics when I get it.

I have a Horizon 26 and bought, $556., a winter storage cover from Fisher Canvas in Burlington, NJ URL below. The covers are custom made to a pattern for your make and model and they fit like a glove. Much more cost effective then shrink wrap and they breath. They also put pockets on the outside of the cover that you slide 2x4 into to support the cover so you don't have to build a frame.

Don't know if they do mooring covers but give them a call.

At $ 650, you should be able to have a cover made by a local canvas shop. I did that with my prior. boat.
