After a very snowless mild winter up here in the Northeast, Lake Winnipesaukee had it's earliest ice out in history this past Wednesday. It was also only the third time it's happened in the month of March. Last year it was on APRIL 20th which is about the average.

LET'S GO BOATING!!!! :P

Oh crap...i'm boatless for another couple of weeks... :?

Nice! We are almost there, just some thin ice left. Almost a month ahead of normal here as well. Our lakes are low though, with little snow this winter as well, and a spring melt with very little rain for run-off. I actually hope we get some good rain over the next few weeks!

Hope that new boat comes soon for ya!

Has an 1 1/2 inches of snow here on Thursday evening. We have had snow in late April here. Can't wait to retire and get the hell out of here.
