I've got an '06 204 Funship. I was talking with my CPA and he asked if our boat has a head, a galley and/or sleeping quarters. The 204 has a sink and freshwater tank, so I suppose that could be considered part of a galley?

With the bow fill-in cushions, I certainly have a place to sleep. It seems to me all I need is a portable camping toilet, maybe a grill and I've got myself a head and galley?

Is this pushing it? Or, are the rules vague enough to actually make it a possibility?

In order to qualify, you need:

    1. Sleeping accommodations which a v-berth meets.
    2. Toilet, which a porta-potty meets.
    3. PERMANENTLY installed cooking facilities. A grill WILL NOT meet these standards. If you had a microwave in the cabin you would be golden.

Now, that being said, the only time it matters is if you get audited
