I searched the threads but have a question. Back when my ex father in law had his boat the two battery with switch was the standard for ocean going ships. I haven't seen anything lake wise about this but I'm inclined to think a standard battery, a second standard or deep cycle back up would be pretty common with a (1-2-all-off) switch.

Any thoughts on this? Warrenty issues? I do plan to fish with it no ideaas yet on troling motor....

The 2-battery setup with 1-2-both-off switch is an option on (I think) all the current FW models. I opted for it in ours and I'd be willing to bet most new buyers do as well. It can always be added later also. Certainly it would be required on an ocean-going vessel, but I wouldn't want to be stranded on a lake any more than I'd want to be stranded in the ocean. It's not an expensive thing to have, in the scheme of things.

BTW. love your sig. NRA life member here.
