The 290DA is a nice boat. We have been on Cincy's a few times. About the most Four Winns styled Sea Ray there is. Not to fond of the swim platform though, and its not a big enough jump to make it worthwhile. IIRC, it does have an electric engine hatch. And that price is way out of line....about typical from what I've seen ffrom most MI boats.

I find Michigan boats are priced well. You can find better deals in other parts of the country but the boats are usually "salty" or ar really far to haul home. The per capita of boat for sale in the Michigan area is overwhelming too. I would not hesitate to search the Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin area for a good used boat. Another benefit is the season in these areas is also short so the boats usually have low hours.

This 2001 328 Four Winns Vista that Cap'n provided the link for has been on the market for quite a while now. Bet they would be willing to "negotiate".

Have fun.......

Mike.

Nice boat, and yes it has been online a while. '01 is older than we are willing to go.

We're looking to move up and newer, not up and older. We have done some talking and our 268 will most likely be with us for the next few years, unless a great deal pops up.

We looked at a 318 again recently, and it didn't wow us like it originally did. I guess that is what having a bunch of people on a 338 will do. The size difference between the 338 and 318 is quite noticable. Makes more sense for us to wait a bit longer and go with a 338 vs. a 318.

The 328 is a very nice boat. There is an '05 in Iowa and an '06 in Florida that I've seen. Quite a bit of boat for the money!

Very true. I do like the exterior stylings on Montys...there was a 330 being trailered in front of us a few weeks ago. Not to sure on their new helms...seem busy!
