I dun like the way newer boats don't have a place for paper charts at the helm.

Nice boat. A bit old for us, but none the less a nice boat...even with a trailer!

Okay, now I know the budget is over 100K, because it has to be "newer"

I like the information what you share and I really appreciate it. It will be helpful to newcomer for boating. In past 5 years much upgradation has come out in boating Industries. The picture of boat is very nice. keep sharing and updating such information.

Well, at least spammers have more interest than Fire does.  :D

Fire, by the way, how is the bidding on that re-po 328 Vista coming along :?:

Have you purchased you Garmin yet? If not, I would suggest 5x6 series. I have a 541s, I love the unit, but resolution is a bit grainy. I Bought an Airmar B-117 transducer with temp. Dan

I've got to be honest, I have the 545s and I find it horrible non-user friendly. I consider myself to be quite techy and what not but I can't seem to get a handle on how to make good use of this. I really tried to make it a useful device on my lake erie trip but never really accomplished much. If I didn't have a hole in my helm, I'd sell it. But it has good resolution!

I did not mean to go tangent from the original subject of this thread. I just wanted to give an informed opinion prior to this possible purchase. This does not seem like the thread to discuss gps on. I am going to start a thread in that section and see what comes of it. Dan

No problem with the hijack, Fire is not paying attention to the original post anyway.

So, here is another one (he has no doubt already seen).

2008 Four Winns 338 Vista - loaded

"will consider trades for a smaller boat", Hmmmm, maybe a 2004 268 Vista ????

Looks like a great boat. The bow thruster is a real plus. Not quite axius but close and a whole lot cheaper.

Cap'n that boat looks very familiar. I think it made the Lake Michigan crossing with us last year. Owner is pretty meticulous about upkeep, and really went all out with the bells and whistles when he bought it new. If it's the same one anyway.
