All I can say is my 08 (new to me) has no clunking going on...actually very smooth shifting, but keep in mind I so not have nor have ever had a dual prop (DP) drive either. Not sure if that makes any difference or not. Just have them check her out is all - it's a quick check for them to listen too just to make sure.....besides it's really their boat and drive until the warranty expires the way i look at it. No need for you to worry - yes need for them:)

As far as the water - every top leaks - remember to keep plug out if boat is on trailer and outside even if just for over night. You don't want to swamp the motor on the trailer, which is how most engines get dunked. To answer your questions - the lowest point on the floor storage and bilge will not drain all the way....about a rag full of water that will sit there....rest of it will drain.....i just take a towel and sop it up.

Also - whenever done boating and carpet is wet I remove and hang them up to dry. Just took some wooden closet rods and tied them up with rope at the ends and hang em for quick dry - then roll em and store in boat.

That really is one nice looking rig you have there - no need for stress over the clunk - if it's anything it's an adjustment issue. Like maybe throttling up before gear kicks in....either throttle or shift linkage adjustment.

Welcome, great looking boat.

Preach mode on:
The best thing I did when I bought my first boat was to join the Canadian Power Squadron and take the Boating course. It did wonders for my confidence. Nice folks. Insurance discount too.
Preach mode off:

My SX drive didn't clunk either, my new Bravo 1 with DTS shifts as smooth as silk.

Have fun.

Greg

Thanks .

Got to play more with her during last days and after 7 hours I allready menaged to break something. Speedo is now stuck at 20-25mph range after hitting a piece of wood so I have to pull her out and check to see if I can clean the inlet or whatever it is.. hopefully everything else is fine.

Howevers that didn't stop us of having fun so here a re some nice pics.

Great pics! The second one I think is pretty cool, plus many others. Looks like you'll have lots of fun with the boat...keep the pics coming

I don't have pics that good and I've had my boat 3 summers. I have work to do.

Thunderstorms and hail moving thru the area now 23:30 EST Tuesday May 31. Now I'm glad the boat's in the driveway.
