I have been considering buying a moring cover to keep on the boat all week while its docked at camp vs. leaving the canvas on it. My thought is the mooring cover will cover all the gel coat above the rail and prevent uv damage. Im not too keen on faded canves after a few years. Any thoughts oor experience from anyone? I have been considering the draw string type that comes down over the rub rail kinda like when they shrink wrap....please share.

I just got one from Overtons and it fits pretty well. But you have to attach the straps that come down from the top to the trailer.

I have a 2007 but this cover still fits perfectly and it covers the bimini top as well.

Get one custom made with snaps below the rubrail and poles to hold the center up. Nothing worse than getting a big puddle of water in a cover. It will tear when you try to get out. I think in the long run it would be a better deal.

Why not buy the Four Winns mooring cover made specifically for your boat? After Dealer discount, mine came within $40 of the Overton's discounted price as posted by MdR.
