I have a bunch of free space on my web hosting account I use for the business. I had the idea of putting together a Four Winns "how-to" site. We all post projects and fixes that we do such as impeller changes, A/C installs, stereo upgrades, etc.

Al has a great site he created dedicated to the 268, but I was wondering if a site dedicated to all the models might not be a bad idea.

What's everyone think? I don't mean to take away from this site, just add another that can be linked to "how-tos" when a question arises.

I love the idea. I wonder why not just make it another forum on this board? Maybe with sub-forums like "Electronics", "Engine & Drive", "Fiberglass", etc.

That would be awesome. Especially if we also sorted it out by models. I'm a picture guy, so having something to look at always helps me understand it a lot better.

That would be great. A good search function would be important to have. Somethings may be model specific but most are not.

A wiki would be great for this (see http://www.wikipedia.org) It is basically a collection of articles that the community can contribute to.

If the ifourwinns admin is interested in adding that type of feature to this site, I'd be more than happy to help out.

Okay, new site is registered. http://www.boat-projects.com Not the task begins of building and adding content. Any info, ideas, projects, please bring them on!

Please understand, I do not want to take away from this site...it's great! This will just be a "enhancement" where anyone can go to get more detailed info on projects we have all worked hard to complete.

DISCLAIMER: " I will be no means take responsibility for anyone spending over their boating budget by doing projects they find there. Sorry, all, I can't afford alimony/child support for myself when the Admiral threatens, let alone anyone else.
