Do you guys ever get concerned with the doggies toenails puncturing the vynal seats? Our black lab is a great dog and we used to take her on our old boat all the time since the cushions were beat up anyway. We now have a 2006 Vista...brand spankin new. I would love to bring her out, but I'm nervous that 65 lbs of dog might puncture the upholstry on deck?

I make sure my boxer has nice rounded nails. I either get them grinded by a groomer or you go for a nice long run on concrete. I was told its not a big problem like you think it will be, but it still worries me alittle. I had a girl in stiletto heels step on my sundeck 2 weeks ago and about flew from the bow to tackle her. No holes?????????

we have a no shoes on the boat rule....stilettos included.

Woggy,

Sorry to see and hear about your mishap, lessons learned the hard way sure do bite (pun intended). I love my Doberman to pieces, but she stays at home!
