I have a 2009 V358 with a E80 chart plotter with radar and mercury vessel view Having trouble with the transducer I think as sometimes it reads depth other times it doesn't the 6 times i have been using it it hasn't worked at all can someone advise if they have updated there plotter or replaced the transducer it looks like it is a through the hull transducer and I am not taking the boat out of the water for about 9 months. I have a 2008 V358 with E80/DSM30.... same problem. Depth displayed occasionally. No particular sequence. I opened the dash and found the SeaTalk (High speed) cable (between the MFD and the Seatalk module) with cracks in its outer vinyl coating..... not sure if related... I disconnect the Weather module, just in case it would draw voltage from the DSM30. Same result. |
