My needs are pretty simple. I don't care to own a fish finder, but I would dearly like a depth sounder here in Florida. Lakes here can go from 20ft to 3ft while you're 100yds off shore. I thought about just getting a nice 2" gauge sounder that also has water temp (to avoid those dang amoebas LOL) but GPS would be cool too when I start exploring other lakes and the intercoastal. So my question is, is there a GPS/Sounder combo without the fish part? I'm trying to stay around the $500 mark with color screen. |

I picked up a 531s for that price. GPS/Chartplotter/sounder. |

Love my Lowrance 522ci. All of the above plus more. NMEA 2000 connections too! |
