I am sure this has been discussed before but my search has not turned up any results.

I would like to install Wifi on my V355. I have hunted around on the internet finding many systems but am not at all sure which way to go. Do any of you have recommendations from what you have done?

Thanks

Ron

Ah, my specialty!

Everyone's heard of RogueWave wifi. Works great, but really expensive. Well, you're in luck. It's literally a re-stickered Ubiquiti Bullet M.

What's pretty cool is Ubiquiti made a new model of the Bullet M in aluminum, even more durable. It costs $100 on Amazon:

Now, you need an antenna to stick on it. How about a 12db gain onmi?? You'll pick up marina signals from 1/4mi away.

Now, here's the fun part. You plug that into the WAN port of your standard home wireless router installed in your boat (get whatever brand/model it really doesn't matter) so you can walk around your vessel with a local strong WIFI signal.
