| Post subject: | Dumb Battery Question |
Sorry if this has been answered before I couldn't find it. I was hooking up my battery and noticed there were 4 wires. 1 red, 1 black, 1 yellow with black and 1 yellow with grey. Obviously the red goes + and black -,but where do the yellows go? Thanks in advance! Horizon H180 |

You don't say what year your boat is, or whether there may be aftermarket options installed. You might look on the Four Winns website for the Owner's manual which may have a wiring diagram. Otherwise, you might try tracing the wires to the equipment they are connected to. I hesitate to say "Just hook them up to the positive terminal" because you might blow something. Additional accessories like a depthfinder or audio system (or amp) may have been wired directly to the battery. |
