Does anybody know if the horn openings/grill size are the same for the entire Horizon series? I have a 180 and I'm not very found of the "slightly muffled" sound coming from my horn.

I'm interested in making this upgrade, but I'm really not comfortable making new holes in the hull (opening existing ones doesn't trouble me much, though).

I imagine they're all the same across the line in a given model year, but not sure they stay the same over a long period of time.

For 249 it would be fun to scare the life out of some dimwit on a PWC that just jumped right in front of your boat which is the custom in miami with these A holes! I am ordering one right now thanks for the tip. I can't wait until the next idiot on a PWC that comes by he is going to have to change his shorts. 8) Joe in Miami

Just posting this for the archives, from another thread.

My dual horn ended up coming from Carquest Auto Parts of Cadillac, MI. They shipped it UPS. Phone 231-775-9772. Their part #SGT 72223. Price $38.43 (in July 2009).

If the part is still available, I would think any Carquest ought to be able to order it (but maybe not).

I would say the dual is a definite improvement - but it still just sounds like a better car horn. :P Without a place to mount real horns, I'm not sure there's a better option. The thought crossed my mind of getting two of the dual sets, and mounting one of them on the starboard side so at least all the sound wouldn't be coming from one side of the boat, but then I laid down until it went away.
