Thanks for all of your help. I spent an hour cleaning ground contacts at the battery, engine, engine to transom to no avail. I went under the helm and took the small bolt off the ground going into the fuse box and voila! Problem solved. Guess I should have started with the easy one first!!!

I think most have been there with you (I know I have). Once (different boat) my ign. switch would work, then the next time it wouldn't (ect., ect. worked, then it wouldn't). I cleaned every connection, replaced the switch, cleaned connections again, then checked the fuse box and viola (!!!) the ign. fuse was 1/2 in-- 1/2 out (VERY bad connection). It always is the last place you look, and that (for me at least) is the first place I neglected to look at earlier.
