My local FW dealer quoted me $521 for a walk-through door, including shipping. Plastic door with stainless hardware. Does this sound reasonable?

That's just over 1/2 of a "boat dollar".

I don't know what other source you could find, unless you want to make it a do-it-yourself project.
The plastic is "Starboard"
Lift-off hinges can be purchased from http://www.southco.com
Plus SST hinges, Plus center Latch, Plus Blocks to act as door jam.

But when your all done, you will have a homemade door instead of a FW door, which could hurt resale value if it doesn't look as good.
