Update: After spending hours thinking about how to do this, my buddy just pulled the trigger and we started cutting. The end result is outstanding if you ask me. I now have two bait/filet/prep tables, and a nice magma grill, plus someplace to put my poles when I am fishing instead of leaning them on the bench seat.

First Bait table $30.00 ($30)
Magma bait table garage sale find $ 7.00 ($144)
Magma Grill Craigslist find $25.00 ($409)
Pole holders (x2) $30.00 ($60)

Total $92.00 (suggested retail price $ 643)

Man I love a bargain!

Good work it looks great! Seems like it would be a very convenient place to cook dinner as well as keep an eye on the fishing pole from the helm

I got to try this for the first time yesterday. The grill s awesome! Cooks very nice, and very fast. It's so easy to make a meal now with everything in the proper places and working well. One note DO NOT store the regulator inside the cover and then place the grill in the mount...my regulator went straight overboard....luckily I was beached and only in about 3 feet of water...but that water was a cold 60 degrees....now regulator is stored inside the cabin in a cabinet.

so the grill covers 95% of the table?

you could have used a 15* rod holder for the grill and set it at 90 out away from the gunnel. so that any grease drips overboard and you have ton of table room. my 2 cents,. i feel the 45* holder kicks it way to the left..

I actually thought about that...but the bimini gets in the way...that's why I used the 45*. That table is my bait table anyhow...not my food prep I don't use it when I am cooking. The food prep table is mounted on the other side, not the best design but necessary because I wouldn't put the grill on the side with the fuel vent.

Yea I lost my regulator the same way. Lesson learned. Mine never came back though. Lol. As for the other poster. I mounted a track on mine in the same place and have 3 rod holders on a pedestal that slide into it.
