Yes, I did it myself and it doesn't look as good in person as it does in the pics . Don't get me wrong, it's pretty good, but as with most things that are painted, the color isn't a dead match and it isn't uniformly the same gloss as the original paint. Hopefully it's something you'd only see if you're looking at it with a critical eye, but this was one of the decisions I had to make as part of this project - that if I wanted the BB's, I might have to be willing to have a couple of spots where the paint wasn't perfect. That decision took me about 5 seconds to make , but I'm sure it would have been a harder one if the trailer were still brand-new.

Still, IMO everyone with a FW painted trailer ought to get a can or two of touch-up spray from their dealer, just to have on hand.

I ran the nut down first so I could use it to clean up the threads after making the cut, but then discovered that something about these bolts/nuts makes them virtually impossible to remove once installed.
