You have beverages aboard that sit still long enough to get warm? You need to change drinks.

Sorry I'm late to the party on this one. I just joined the board yesterday and bought my 2005 FW H230 on Saturday. What dealer had SS cupholders for $8.12 a piece? I called the local dealer here and they quoted me $27 a piece (which is not gonna happen). Anyone else find a good price on a quality replacement? Also--anyone know the diameter of the hole opening so I make sure to get the right size? Thanks!

Top Notch Performance Marine has them for about $13.50 ea., but need to order by size. They also have them in all kinds of colors.

I replaced the plastic ones with stainless last year. HUGE improvement. I think I paid <$10 ea on iboats. I just popped one of the plastic ones out, measured the opening, and ordered the least expensive SS ones of that size. Only took about 15 mins to swap all of them out.

Huge improvement in looks, or function? Just curious.

Anyone know the size needed on the H230 or have easy access to measure? I keep my boat 3 hours away in Tennessee and don't plan to be down there until spring. It's going to be a long winter! Thanks, Eric

Function obviously!...at least that's how I explained it to the admiral.

Our boat is 10 years old and the previous owner didn't seem to work too hard on appearance - or some maintenance for that matter. I actually enjoy it (most of the time). The 2 biggest bang-for-the-buck "upgrades" we made since buying it were cup holders and a new steering wheel. The original cup holders and the original wheel were so mold and mildew covered that they were impossible to get clean - and the new ones really made a big improvement in the appearance.

Here is an approx before/after - Unfortunately cupholders don't really show up, but wheel does. The dealer replaced the original VDO instrument cluster with Faria gauges as part of the deal when we bought which also made a big difference in appearance...

I ended up ordering the SS cup holders from Winnisquam Marine today. They are ordered directly from Four Winns and will be shipped to me for $9 a piece. That seems like a great deal compared to some of the prices I have seen. Matt at Winnisquam was great at getting me the info I needed and quoting the price for the order. The proof will be when they arrive (which might be awhile since Matt warned me that everything shipping out of Four Winns is slow right now and boat shows will get priority).

It's slow not just because of boat shows, but also because there's only 1 person behind the counter these days I think...

You'll get 'em. That's the beauty of winter...

Great price from Winnisquam. wow.

I just ordered the white ones for my 298 Vista because of this very reason. I have young children and they are always grabbing at them and don't want them to get burned. Plus, I am a cheap ass.

***EDITED 12/09 - DON'T ORDER THROUGH DISCOUNT MARINE SUPPLIES - VERY SLOW AND UNRESPONSIVE**
***EDITED 12/10 - I JUST GOT MY CUP HOLDERS. THE ORDER WAS CORRECT. IT TOOK ABOUT 2 WEEKS BUT FOR $7.50 FLAT SHIPPING AND A HOLIDAY IN THE MIDST (THANKSGIVING), I GUESS IT WAS WORTH IT**

I have S/S throught out the boat, but none on the swim platform, So I installed 2 Plastic ones in the long ski locker door back there. The white plastic really blends in and is not really noticable.

The cupholders from Winnisquam Marine came in the mail last week before Christmas--only about a month from when I ordered them. Great quality, great price. Winnisquam was excellent to work with. Now I can't wait to install them and get out on the water--especially looking outside at the snow!

I recently purchased stainless cup holders from my local FW dealer to replace the plastic ones and was wondering how much hose/tubbing to attach to the drainage plug? I'm assuming just a few feet would be sufficient to direct the water to the bilge. I bought some tubing at Home Depot for less then $10. Once the cap (compression fitting??) is removed, the tubbing fits tightly over the threads, so it should work good.

My 180 had the plastic cup holders and once they fill up with water, it was tough to get it out. Plus, they always were dirty and my boat is kept in doors 365 days a year. I figured the stainless would be a nice upgrade and with them draining into the bilge, would be functional as well.
