Swapped out the speakers today. I went with a set of MB Quart Marine speakers. I would have liked some JL or Polk, but decided to do an enxpensive set for this year. I am teaching my 3 nephews ages 3-9 how to fish and I wanted something that if they spilled or hit it would not be to much to replace.

Here is the before and after.

Amazon.com mostly. I still have access to the Best Buy Employee auction site so I pick stuff up there every once and awhile. After working for best buy for a few years and knowing cost on things I usually can get about the same deal as employees do from various sources online. The speakers were 50.00 and the deck was 100.00 bucks. I ordered the pioneer 4900IB. This way I can use the ipod touch through the deck and keep it stored away nice and dry.

Deck MSRP was 249.00
MB Quart Speakers MSRP 169.99

Of course none of us pay MSRP

Lookin good.

I am trying to decide on what to run myself. Let us know how you like the sound quality.

I run the MBs in my cars, I am a big fan of MB quart stuff.
