I can't figure out where the short poles on my bimini top connect to. I assume they are used when the top is folded down towards the back to keep it off of the boat. I just bought the boat, it is a 2006 220 Horizon. Is it possible this is a standard Four Winns top and I need to install the docking hardware?

My 2007 200 has the same configuration, and does have quick release style connectors that the short poles snap into towards the rear of the cockpit. Can't really speak to whether your bimini is stock or not, although it is likely. One thing you could check would be if the bimini cover has the four winns logo on it - mine does.

Confusing.....Do you have a bimini installed on your boat? The short polls on mine go in the same holes(quick release connectors) as the long ones. This is the position your bimini should be in for trailering at highway speeds. It takes a lot of stress off it in the down position going down the highway. It greatly minimizes the amount of dead bugs that build up on it as well, if it's in that position.

Yes I have a Four Winns bimini top on the boat. The shorter legs are in the rear of the top leading me to believe that you lay it down towards the sundeck. Possibly seen by the picture.

Rob, What size is your bimini top? I am going to install one on my 180 soon and am curious if I should go with the 5.5 ft or 6ft.

Pretty sure it's 6'. I'm 5'8" and I can pass under it easily. It's the stock FourWinns bimini top.
